UHS officials said last night that they did not post the "pronouncement" warning that condoms included in the latest issue of Perspective magazine were defective.
Acting Director of the University Health Services Dr. Sholom Postel phoned The Crimson last night after close to a dozen concerned students called UHS alerting the emergency staff there to the poster.
The poster alleged that "a sizeable number of the condoms have been tampered with so as to pose a serious health hazard." The warning was posted in a variety of locations in the Yard.
Dr. Postel said that contrary to the poster's statements, "there is no emergency team for students to go to at Harvard Hall," but he added that any students who noticed any symptons, "should certainly come in and see us."
