The Scouting Report

HARVARD

Quarterback

What will QB Tom Yohe do next? After passing for a career-best 265 yards last week against Northeastern, the junior signalcaller has proven he can get Harvard's offense moving. In two games, Yohe has thrown for 410 yards and 5 touch-downs. His scrambling ability has also created some valuable Harvard scores.

Running Backs

Harvard's running backs have something to prove. Dan Bunning rushed for only 14 yards last week after an impressive showing (80 yards) against Columbia. If Bunning and Tony Hinz have an impressive game against Bucknell's tough 3-4 defense, Harvard Coach Joe Restic will not have to depend solely on the passing game.

Receivers

Last week, Brian Barringer had his best day ever (7 catches, 112 yards, 1 TD) in a Crimson uniform. TE Kent Lucas will probably see more action after scoring on a spectacular catch against the Huskies. Although the receiving corps has been impressive, it has also dropped a few balls.

Offensive Line

The Crimson line has its work cut out for it against the tough 3-4 Bison defense. The offensive line must open the way for Harvard's running game and protect Yohe--who has been sacked for a total loss of 53 yards in two games.

Defensive Line

Harvard's defensive line sparkled against the Huskies' Wishbone offense, adjusting at the right moments of the game. Yet, with the loss of starter Greg Williams--at least for this weekend--it remains to be seen how well the line will respond against Bucknell.

Linebackers

Gradually, the Harvard linebacking duo is making a name for itself in Coach Restic's 5-2 defense. Richard Mau and Kris Thabit recorded 11 tackles last week.

Secondary

Even though it was the victim of a late Northeastern scoring drive, the Harvard secondary still held the Husky passing game in check when it was necessary. CB Don Heberle recorded nine first-hits, the best by any defensive back this year.
