To the Editors of The Crimson:
Professor Dershowitz in discussing the award by the Kennedy School to Attorney General Meese states, inter alia, that it is unwise for a President to appoint a crony as attorney general.
I agree. We have objected to many governments in the third world for less than that. But we are not always consistent.
Tweny years ago, the President appointed his brother as attorney general. There were few comments in The Crimson or elsewhere. Was this because the Presdient was a Harvard man? Richard Wilson Mallinckrodt Professor of Physics
