Harvard Captain Scott Fusco was named ECAC Player of the Year yesterday for the second consecutive season.
Fusco, who led the league in scoring with 18 goals and 31 assists, was also the only member of the Crimson squad to receive a berth on the All-ECAC First Team.
Fusco's Firing Line-mate Tim Smith earned a spot on the Second Team, as did defensemen Mark Benning and Randy Taylor. Harvard netminder Grant Blair nabbed an Honorable Mention.
The Other Five
Joining Fusco on the First Team were Cornell center Joe Nieuwendyk, Yale forward Randy Wood, Princeton defenseman Cliff Abrecht, RPI defenseman Mike Dark, and Vermont goalie Tom Draper.
