The Harvard men's and women's ski teams participated at the Haystack competition in New Hampshire over the weekend, but a computer malfunction prevented some of the scores from being compiled.

P.A. Weiner managed to place second in the men's giant slalom in the first day of racing, but had to drop out of competition because of illness. David Wood brought home a personal-best fifth place finish in the giant slalom.

In the Nordic relay, Drew Harmon collided with another skier during the first leg. The mishap dropped the Crimson from third place to seventh, after Harmon retrieved one of his skis from the woods.

Dan Corey also finished seventh in the Nordic to round out the early scores for the Crimson.

The women Nordic skiers continued their onslaught on the collegiate skiing world. Manya Deehr, Kristen Berggren and Joy Clendenning finished first, second and third, respectively, for the Crimson.
