Nearly two of every three people surveyed favor the instant replay rule being used this season in the NFL, according to a poll conducted by USA Today.

The newspaper said yesterday that 62.1 percent of 15,570 people who responded to a 40-item sports questionnaire published in October said they liked the replay. It said 20.9 opposed the rule and 17.0 percent had not made up their minds.

Of 305 plays reviewed in the first 13 weeks of the season, only 32 were reversed, the newspaper said. It said there have been 23,660 total plays.
