Seven members of the Harvard men's soccer team were named All-Ivy selections, it was announced yesterday.
John Catliff, Paul Nicolas, and Mark Pepper were named to the All-Ivy first team.
Derek Mills and Nick Hotchkin made the second All-Ivy squad.
And Nick D'Onfrio and Miles Welch notched honorable mention spots.
The Crimson is one of four teams remaining in the NCAA Tournament. With a victory over Duke Sunday in Durham, N.C., Harvard--which beat Hartwick, 2-0, last Sunday--will move on to the NCAA Tournament Final to be played in Tacoma, Wash.
Akron and Fresno State will be competing in the other semi-final match to earn a place in final against either Duke or Harvard.
If the Crimson wins the championship, it will be the first Harvard team since 1904 to earn NCAA Champion honors. Eighty-two years ago, the Harvard golf team copped the national title.
In the game against Hartwick, Catliff and Mills knocked in a goal apiece to lead the Crimson.
