Sailing
The Harvard Men's and women's sailing teams demonstrated their depth over the weekend al over New England, competing in 15 divisions of six different regattas.
In Saturday's competition for the Oberg Trophy, symbolic of the Creator Boston Championship, Harvard's varsity men took second to host Tufts.
In yesterday's Golden Cup action at MIT, the hosts defended the second place Crimson men's varsity, but Harvard came a way with one division victory. Freshman John Pernick triumphed in the laser event of the four-division composition.
The varsity women took third, behind Brown and Connecticut College, at the Radcliffe-hosted Sloop Shrew Saturday and yesterday.
Women's Water Pole
In college - water polo circles, the name Brown usually means one thing--winning.
But this weekend, the Harvard women's water polo team did something their male counterparts have been dying to do for quite awhile--beat the Bruins.
The 13-4 victory capped off a five-game, two-day tournament held at Blodgett pool on Friday and Saturday. The Crimson defeated MIT and Queens Friday evening and Knocked off University of Rhode island, Princeton, and Brown the next day.
