The burglarly occurred between 11 am and 2 p.m. while the rooms' residents were eating lunch or attending classes, said Preston W. Brooks '86, who had a television set and a watch stolen.
Brooks said that when he returned from lunch he noticed has TV was gone, and later, when his roommate could not find his watch, they realized they had been ripped off.
"Our door was locked," Brooks said. "The problem is that the fire doors can be easily penetrated, and the person on the other side of our fire door has a problem with her [front] door."
