BOSTON -- Boston sent two second round draft picks to New York yesterday to get the Knicks to waive their rights to free agent guard Ray Williams, who was expected to join the Celtics today.
Boston signed Williams last Thursday to an offer sheet promising to pay him $125,000 for the rest of the National Basketball Association season.
