Quakin' and Shakin' at the Stadium

It was a cold but happy outing for Harvard football fans Saturday at the Stadium. The Crimson gridders trounced the Penn Quakers, 17-6, to grab a share of first place in the Ivy League. And that's not all that happened. Counterclockwise from top left: Harvard players stood on the sideline before the Crimson's first touchdown; the Penn band played in the stands; on the playing field, Harvard fullback ROBERT SANTIAGO pitched the ball to Joe Connolly to set up the Crimson's first touchdown; Harvard Coach JOE RESTIC surveyed the field; the chilly fans beat their hands together to keep warm; the Crimson celebrated its victory; and Harvard players tried to convince a wayward stray that the only dogs allowed on the field are Yale's Bulldogs. And they'll meet next week. (For full details of Saturday's game, see Page Ten)
