Newton native was the 17th selection in the NHL draft in June...first American schoolboy player selected...chosen by the Calgary Flames...Belmont Hill School graduate...will add size to Crimson blue-line corps...member of U.S. Junior National team at Finland in 1984.

Tim Smith 3 Sr. F
