Harvard Dragged Through the Courts

Ephraim Isaacs, the former associate professor of Afro-American Studies who is suing Harvard for discrimination in his tenure decision, has appealed the dismissal of his case.

Isaac's new lawyer. Edward Greer, yesterday called District Court Judge Walter J. Skinner '48's ruling "a legal mistake."

"That's a crazy thing that he did." Greer added.

The appeal will decide whether Isaac's former lawyers kept administrative proceedings going while at the same time.
