The Harvard men's tennis team ran its outdoor spring record to 5-1 Saturday, toppling Brown, 5-4, in Providence, R. I.
The one-match margin-of victory was enough to up the Crimson's Ivy record to 3-1.
Sophomore Larry Scott fell to Brown's Darryl Lindsey on the number one singles position, but Crimson victories in the numbers two, three and four slots gave Harvard a comfortable margin heading into doubles.
The Cantabs won only the number three doubles match. Harvard defaulted the number two match because of darkness.
