Men's Volleyball
The Harvard men's volleyball team placed third over the weekend at the East Coast Volleyball Open at Vassar. In the 18-team tournament, the Crimson made its way to the semifinals before bowing to East Stroudsburg, 15-7, 15-11, for the second time this year.
The Harvard squad defeated Drexel, Army and split with Pittsburgh to earn its way to the quarterfinals, where it defeated the New Jersey Institute of Technology.
Meanwhile, last Friday at Yale's Payne Whitney Gymnasium, the Crimson clinched the East Coast Volleyball League's Division II league title by defeating the Bulldogs, 15-3, 15-6, 15-4.
Freshman Adam keller led the way for Harvard over the weekend with his setting and Mohan Nadkarni followed suit with his spiking.
The Crimson returns to Cambridge for its final home match of the year Saturday, when it will meet highly touted Princeton.
