* Alabama: primary. 62 delegates chosen by proportional representation. 35 chosen at district level, 17 at large, and 10 unpledged.

* American Samoa: caucuses. 6 delegates chosen, 3 at the district level and 3 unpledged.

* Democrats Abroad: direct delegate election primary and non-binding preference primary. 5 delegates selected, 3 at district level and 2 unpledged.

* Florida: primary. Direct delegate selection and separate non-binding preference primary. 143 delegates selected; 84 at district level, 39 at large and 20 unpleged.

* Hawaii: precinct caucuses, first step in a two-tier selection process that ends at May 27 state convention. Winner bonus, 27 delegate selected; 13 at district level, 6 at large, and 8 unpledged.

* Massachusetts: primary, by proportional representation, 116 delegates chosen; 68 district level, 32 at large, and 16 unpledged.

* Nevada: precinct caucuses. First step in a three-tier selection process that ends at state convention May 4-6, 20 delegates selected: 11 district, level, four at large, and 5 unpledged.

* Oklahoma: precinct caucuses, first step in a four-tier selection process that culminates in state convention May 5. 53 delegates selected; 29 district level, 14 at large, and 10 unpledged.

*Rhode Island primary proportional representation 27 delegates selected, 15 district level, 7 at large, and 5 unpledged.

*Washington: precinct caucuses, first step in a three-tier process culminating in a state convention June 10 70 delegates selected 41 at district level. 20 at large, and 9 unpledged.

Total number of pledged delegates as today; 407, or 10.3 percent of the total.

Total number of pledged delegates after Super Tuesday; 919 or 23.4 percent.
