Columbia yesterday beat the Harvard women's fencing team, 14-2.
The Crimson then lost to Fairleigh-Dickinson, 10-6. The defeats dropped the Crimson's record to 3-3.
The Harvard men's fencing team's seven-match undefeated streak came to an abrupt end yesterday as they fell to Columbia, 16-11, at Levien Gymnasium in New York, N.Y.
After losing to Columbia, the fencers topped St. John's, 19-8. The triumph left the Crimson record at 81 at the end of the day.
The Crimson plays perhaps its biggest match of the year this afternoon at Pennsylvania.
