The Harvard men's water polo team's performances at New England tournaments are usually pretty predictable: the squad can down any opponent except Brown.
So this weekend's Eastern Water Polo Association Tournament at Providence could have proved a welcome change, except for one thing: Instead of losing to Brown, the aquadudes lost to Navy, 18-3, and Richmond, 9-5.
The Crimson did defeat Washington and Lee, 16-8, and overall, senior goalie Brian Graham said, "I was pretty happy with the way we played."
In Navy, Harvard faced the second-best squad in the East--a team that took a 6-3 advantage into the halftime break and came out with a new, equally good lineup for the second stanza.
