Maureen Finn is the unanimous choice for the Ivy League's woman player-of-the-year, the League announced yesterday. The decision keeps the honor in the Crimson family, as teammate and fellow senior Francesca DenHartog won the award the first two years it was given, 1981 and 1982.
Other laxwomen on the first team include DenHartog, Jennifer White and Jeanne Pierstak, on the second team. Trina Burnham and Cricket Johnson, and garnering honorable mention Ellen Velie and Magic Hart.
Among the laxmen Tim Pendergast was honored as first team All-Ivy goalie; Rob Hawley and Brian Edmonds earned spots on the second team; and Brendan Meagher earned honorable mention.
