Rugby
The Harvard Rugby Club advanced to the second round of the Eastern Rugby Championship with its 23-3 win over Syracuse last weekend in Schenectady, N.Y. The ruggers will meet either Cornell or Army next weekend.
Halfbacks John Beilenson and Greg Carey led the Crimson attack Saturday, providing spark to an injury-riddled Harvard squad. The surprisingly easy win has made the ruggers the favorites for the Eastern crown.
