Recently released University Police statistics show that between July 1 and March 5, there have been no homicides, one rape, one sexual assault, 18 assaults, seven robberies, 330 thefts of more than $100.37 breaking-and-enterings and 90 bike thefts reported on Harvard property.
In addition, police estimated the value of property stolen from March 10 to March 16 at $12,178.43, including a gold money clip and a gold toothpick worth $250 that were taken from a secured locker at Blodgett Pool.
The following reports of crime were taken from notes in the University police log last week.
March 11, 9:00 a.m.--The director of Agassiz House reported a beige Oriental medallion rug stolen from the building's second floor living room.
The 17' * 23' rug, worth $2500, has not been recovered, and no arrests have been made in the case.
March 11, 1:03 p.m.--A person reported a political disagreement with an acquaintance that turned into a beated argument in Widener Library. The assailant punched the victim in the mouth and fled.
The victim suffered superficial lacerations have been made in the case.
March 15, 7 :36 p.m.--Bryan McCullough, aged 21 of Syosset, N.Y. was arrested in Quincy House for trespassing Upon checking his record, the police discovered that be was wanted by the Somerville Police Department for breaking and entering, by the `Cambridge police Department for a default warrant and by the Arlington Police Department for a traffic warrants.
The suspect was taken to Middleses County's Third District Court for processing.
