Women's Squash

The Harvard women's squash team showed its depth in defeating Trinity, 5-2. Saturday afternoon in Hemenway Gymnasium.

Although the Crimson's number-one seed, Diane Staley, lost to the visitors' highly-touted Nina Porter, 3-0, the middle of the Harvard line-up dispatched its opponents with ease.

Second-seeded freshman Ingrid Boyum, the younger sister of men's star David, overcame early nervousness to rebound to a 3-1 victory over Lee Spruance.

Number-three Josy Iselin also dispatched her opponent with ease. The fourth slot, usually occupied by Captain Betsy Howe, was filled by Marty Winnick. With Howe out sick. Winnick won as did numbers five and six to round out the Crimson scoring.

Harvard is now 1-0.
