Women's Squash

The Harvard women's squash team took its third straight victory of the year Saturday downing Bowdoin, 6-1, at Hemenway Gym.

The racquetwomen upped their season record to 3-0 with the impressive win.

With the Crimson's first, third and fifth seeded players on a weekend sabbatical at a national invitational tournament at Princeton, even a rearranged lineup proved too strong for the visiting Polar Bears.

Freshman Ingrid Boyum led the Harvard assault, moving from her usual number-two position into the vacant top spot. There, she easily disposed of Bowdoin's Carolyn Donaher in three sets. At the number four and seven, Judy Hung and Debby Carr each posted five set wins, respectively.

The only loss for Harvard came when Bowdoin's Mary Doddery dispatched Ashley Thompson in three straight sets in the number six slot.
