Eight men and eight women this week cleared the preliminary round of the Class Marshal vote and face final elections this Tuesday through Thursday, when half will be chosen as officers of the Class of 1984.

Leverett and Kirkland House members dominated the balloting, grabbing three victories each, while Lowell, North and Winthrop House candidates won two spots apiece. Thirty-four men and 45 women competed for the spots.

The Radcliffe finalists are: Lowell's Janet W. Rich '84 and Christa L. Kuljian '84. Leverett's Vanessa A. Davila '84, Kirkland's Rosemarie Sabatino '84, North's Elizabeth A. Heneghan '84, Stacey Lewis '84 of Currier, Carla Ann Harris '84 of Quincy and Joan E. Gould '84 of Eliot.

Harvard's finalists are: Leverett's Kevin J. Avery '84 and Mustapha Khan '84, Kirkland's John L. Moore III '84 and Howard Needle '84, Winthrop's Victor G. Freeman '84, and George P. Lightbody '84, North's John F. Kelley '84, and Scott Goidel '84 of South House.

Marshal duties include the organization of Class Day activities during Commencement Week as well as fundraising and reunions after graduation.
