NBA Star Waived
New Jersey Nets guard Michael Ray Richardson, who last week admitted he had succumbed again to a cocaine dependency, was waived yesterday by the National Basketball Association team.
Richardson, a three-time All Star, was released because he did not obey an NBA order to report to a New York treatment porgram Monday or yesterday, said a Nets spokesman.
