Football Awards

At its annual banquet last night at the Harvard Club of Boston, the Harvard football team announced the following awards:

*The Froderick Greeley Crocker Award, given to the team's most valuable player, as voted by his teammates--senior quarterback Don Allard.

*The William Paine LaCroik Trophy, given to the varsity or junior varsity player who best demonstrates his enthusiasm for the program--senior offensive guard Harry Cash.

*The Henry N. Lamar Award, a gold pocket watch given to the player who, through his dedication and concern for his fellow players, has made a unique contribution to Harvard football-senior fullback Mike Ernst.

*The Robert F. Kennedy Award, given to a player who, through his desire, determination and willingness to work has shown himself to be valuable to the team--senior defensive end Joe Margolis.

*The Joseph F. Wolf Award, presented to the outstanding interior lineman- senior offensive guard Mike Corbat.
