The Sox lost their seventh consecutive ball game. 3-1, to the Minnesota Twins. that's the longest losing streak in four years, and the latest was a four-hitter for Pete Redfern and Dough Corbett. "I've been around baseball for a long time, but I've never seen anything like this." Ralph Houk said. "It's almost unbelievable, incredible. Everything that could go wrong has."
For Valenzuela, meanwhile, things are still going over the Montreal Expos--Valenzuela, who has pitched four shutouts and six complete games, now has an ERA of 0.33.
