Police Blotter

The following reports of major crimes were compiled from notes in the Harvard Police log from May 3 to May 9.

May 3, 11:30 a.m.--Unidentified vandals broke into the garden of the Fly Club, stole a hammock, and spray-painted the remaining lawn furniture red.

May 8, 11:15 p.m.--A Quincy House resident reported to police that the note pad hung on her door had been set on fire. The student said another note pad was burnt last month.

May 9, 11:13 p.m.--Police arrested a juvenile in Leverett House G Tower for breaking and entering and possession of burglary tools. The youth was carrying a screwdriver, a wrench, and two pairs of pliers.

Police estimated the total value of property stolen last week at $5111, including a pair of gold cuff links, a gold pocket watch, two silver rings, four silver necklaces, two pearl necklaces and a guitar.
