Led by a three-run third inning and the six-hit, four strikeout performance by hurler David Saks, Canaday A-D defeated Hurlbat, 3-2, to capture the freshman intramural softball championship.
Jonathan Wiener scored what proved to be the winning run for Canaday in the third, when Jim Cavallaro singled to left with two outs and men on first and second.
