A select A/B side extended the Harvard rugby club's unbeaten streak to 22 by copping the New England championships at Amherst this weekend. The team defeated Western Massachusetts, 12-0, Amherst, 15-6, UMass, 12-9, and Dartmouth, 7-6, for its third straight tournament victory in as many weeks.

Philadelphia's Julius Erving scored the last six points of the game as the 76ers beat the Boston Celtics, 107-105, yesterday to take a 3-1 lead in their best-of-seven Eastern Conference final series.
The two teams will meet again in the fifth game Wednesday night at Boston Garden. If necessary, the teams will return to Philly Thursday night for a sixth game.
In the Western Conference finals, Houston whipped Kansas City, 100-89, to take a three-games-to-one lead in their best-of-seven-series.
NHL
The Calgary Flames defeated Philadelphia, 4-1, at the Spectrum last night to win their quarterfinal series, four games to three. The Flames will meet the North Stars at Minnesota on Tuesday in the first game of their semi-final series. The New York Islanders and the New York Rangers will meet in the other semifinal, opening Tuesday at the Nassau Coliseum.
