President Bok will release his open letter on the status of minorities at Harvard tomorrow.
The letter, Bok's sixth on the general topic of the ethical responsibilities of the University, has been in the process of preparation since December. Bok is expected to state his views on minority faculty hiring and minority admissions in the letter, his first since last April.

Klitgaard '68, special assistant to Bok, which suggests that high test scores often overpredict the academic performance of women and minorities.
