No new information has been uncovered in the search for Joan L. Webster, a second-year student at the Graduate School of Design (GSD) missing since November 28, Saugus and University police officials said yesterday.
Webster disappeared after returning to Boston from New Jersey where she spent Thanksgiving with her family. She was last seen in the baggage pick-up area at Logan Airport.
An official at the GSD said yesterday that although Webster's photograph has appeared in newspapers throughout New England, no one has called police to report spotting her. The owner of a car abandoned in Saugus on Route 107 near where Webster's pocketbook and wallet were found in a marsh last week was located Monday and has cooperated with the investigation but the owner did not provide any fresh leads, a Saugus police spokesman said Monday.
