'Nickleby' Tickets

Tickets for the most talked-about Broadway show of the year, "The Life and Adventures of Nicholas Nickleby," are available to Harvard students at a substantial discount.

The ticket price for the eight-and-one-half hour show, which is based on the novel by Charles Dickens, is normally $100. But by special arrangement, the tickets will be sold to Harvard students for $60. Michael D. Kustow, lecturer on Dramatic Arts, said yesterday, adding, "I was very keen for my students to see it."

Kustow said that he will not know until Monday whether there is a maximum number of tickets available at the special price. Students who are eager to see the play should buy their tickets by Monday afternoon, he added.

The discount tickets can be purchased by taking a check to the receptionist at the Loeb theater. Students will have to make their own arrangements to get to New York to see the play.

Mark R. Hill '83, said yesterday that even though the $60 ticket price was high, he had bought a ticket. "If you don't go, you'll be kicking yourself for the rest of your life," he added.
