Harvard's Dave Fasi yesterday was named most valuable player in the New England Water Polo Championships held last weekend at Blodgett Pool. The Crimson's Houston Hall and Phil Atkinson were also named to the first-team All-New England squad for their performances in Harvard's second-place finish. Goalie Rich "The Wall" Reed and Steve "Yifter" Munatonas made second team.
The aquamen travel to the Easterns this weekend where they are seeded seventh. Harvard opened the New Englands with a 13-9 overtime victory over MIT, then fell to top-seeded Brown, 7-3. The aquamen closed out the tournament with a 14-5 victory over Yale.
