CHICAGO--The student newspaper of the University of Illinois has published twice this fall a consumer price index for marijuana, LSD, cocaine and amphetamines.
"Various staff members went around asking people they knew (about prices)," Thomas Gross, features editor of the Illini, said yesterday.
The monthly price index appeared on September 22 and October 20 and will continue monthly, Gross said, adding that there has been no official response from the university's administration.
"They don't like it, but there's nothing they can do according to the regulations," Gross said.
