Transfer Bids Are Due Soon

The number of students who will seek to transfer to another House will probably remain about the same this semester as last, Susan A. Loth, an official in University Hall, said yesterday.

The application forms for House transfers are now available in all House offices, and must be returned to the desired House by next Wednesday.

Adams, Winthrop and Dunster are among those Houses which are relatively uncrowded and will be accepting some transfers.

Marion Weil, Dunster House secretary, said yesterday Dunster has from six to ten spaces open and sophomores will receive first consideration because the House has few sophomores.

Eliot, Lowell and Kirkland Houses will be accepting few if any transfers this term because of overcrowding.

Students whose applications are successful must transfer to the House they are assigned to, regardless of the accomodations available there, Loth said.
