Harvard's rugby club won two of its three games over the weekend. The A ruggers drubbed St. Anselm College's first team, 13-3, while the C squad dispatched with St. Anselm's Bs, 8-0. Harvard's B team lost an 8-7 heartbreaker to Boston Rugby Club's C squad.

The Crimson As dominated the field during their game, scoring their first try (a rugby goal) after forcing the scrum upfield 20 yards. Matt Arrot scored a push-over try when he pounced on the ball as it crossed the goal line and John Kittle ran 60 yards off a reverse for the second try. Walter Herbert contributed with a penalty kick and a conversion.

Phil Montgomery ran ten yards after scooping up a loose ball for the Bs' only try. Xavier Duralde booted a penalty goal.

Marc Anderson and Rich Iorio accounted for the winning tries as the Cs recorded a hard-fought shoutout.
