The public has only four more days to wait to see the contents of the University's files on the Sacco and Vanzetti trial.
Press packets summarizing the contents of the papers will be distributed at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, a spokesman for the Harvard News Office said yesterday. The Sacco and Vanzetti papers will also be available on microfilm, the spokesman added.
The former Harvard President A. Lawrence Lowell, Class of 1877, who left the papers to the University, was a member of a committee which reviewed the case of Nicola Sacco and Bartolomeo Vanzetti in 1927.
Harvard archivists opened the papers in December, 50 years after the event's in accordance with a University policy relating to the release of sensitive papers.
Sacco and Vanzetti were executed for murder in 1927, but many believe their anarchist beliefs led to their conviction.
