To the Editors of The Crimson:
I was dismayed to learn that the weight-lifting facility in the new athletic complex is open only to varsity athletes. The rest of us will not be allowed to use it unless we agree to take the athletic department's proposed course in "pumping iron."
This is patently absurd as well as grossly discriminatory. Harvard does not require jocks to take the reading course before they use the library. Name withheld by request
