The Harvard matmen swept both ends of a wrestling double-header at the IAB last night by defeating the University of New Hampshire, 31-18, and Worcester Polytechnic, 34-7.

Sal D'Agostino led the Crimson grapplers by registering early pins over both of his foes. D'Agostino never gave up a point last night as he upped his record to 4-1 for the season.

"This is the best we've looked since I've been here," co-captain Tom Bixby said shortly after Harvard clinched its third victory in four days. Bixby narrowly defeated Duane Delfosse, a tough Polytechnic Engineer, in his second match, 5-4 to remain undefeated this year in the 150-lb. division.

Four more Harvard grapplers notched two victories last night. Freshman Rick Kief blanked the 126-lb. Engineer, 7-0, and then edged UNH Wildcat Marc Madnick, 4-2.

Bob Cusamano won two high scoring matches in the 134-lb. events. Cusamano's first match, a real barn burner, ended with the Crimson matman on top of Engineer Tony Masullo, 15-12, Cusamano poured on the steam against Wilcat Marc Brown, by running up his tally to 19-4.

In the 167-lb. division, co-captain Jim Corcoran continued the Crimson domination by overwhelming Engineer Craig Dempsey, 13-3, and pinning Wildcat Mike Pendergast in only 1:56 of the first period.

Also having a perfect evening on the mats was the Crimson heavy-weight, Craig Beling. Beling looked awesome as he glued the Worcester heavyweight to the mat at 4:07 of the second period in his first clash. Next, Beling tamed Wildcat Bob McNally, 13-1.

Bill Mulvihill returned to the lineup last night and downed one of Worcester's best wrestlers, Mike Beaudoin, 12-4, in the 142-lb. class.

Lightweight Ray Dominguez continued to run up against unusually stiff competition in the 118-lb. matches. Dominguez courageously battled Engineer Dave Wilson, refusing to be pinned although Wilson held a commanding 13-0 lead.

Ed Bordley rounded out the Crimson scoring with a 6-6 draw in his 177-Ib. clash against Engineer Craig Dempsey.

The Crimson grapplers resume action again on January 14, when they travel down the Charles to MIT.
