The Lowell House Women's Association sent a letter to the master of Lowell House on Tuesday requesting that entry doors be locked and that a uniformed security guard be posted in the archway facing Mt. Auburn St., the coordinator of the association said yesterday.
The group made its requests after compiling the results of a questionnaire it had distributed to Lowell House women asking them to rate the desirability of different security measures and to express the intensity of the need for security, Darcy Bradbury '78, coordinator of the wonen's group, said yesterday.
Most of the respondents favored having a guard stationed in the archway, locked entry doors at night, and increased courtyard lighting.
