Dean Rosovsky has appointed Laura Gordon Fisher, senior tutor in Eliot House, the head tutor of Special Concentrations, Robert J. Kiely, professor of English and chairman of the Committee on Special Concentrations, said yesterday.
Fisher said yesterday she looks forward to dealing with all students who need assistance in choosing a major, not only those in the special concentration program.
The appointment "is an opportunity to do a certain amount of counseling, especially for students who find it difficult to find an area of interest within a departmental concentration," Fisher said.
Fisher will also retain her position at Eliot House.
