The new Harvard telephone directory will not come out this month, and the Telecommunications Office is not yet sure when the directory will reach students, an office official said yesterday.
The office is still accepting student listings, and will continue until the number of requests for new listings falls off, Charlotte A. Nilson of the Telecommunications Office said yesterday.
"I was hoping to close the listings today, but already today 45 people have called up wanting to be listed--so I can't," Nilson said.
The University will need at least three weeks to print and distribute the directories once the listings have closed, Nilson added.
