The Associated Press reported last night that Daniel P. Moynihan, Senator-elect from New York and professor of Government, announced his resignation from the Faculty yesterday. Moynihan, who fit a Government seminar into his campaigning schedule this fall, apparently decided not to arrange a two-day-a-week commute from the nation's capital. Moynihan said he would "miss the University very much," A.P. reported.
