Roy White and Thurman Munson led a 16-hit New York attack and Pat Dobson pitched a six-hitter as the Yankees battered the Boston Red Sox 12-1 yesterday in Fenway Park.

Dobson, 1-2, had a one-hitter through the first seven innings, allowing only Dwight Evans's infield chopper in the third, before yielding two hits in the eighth and three more in the ninth, including Bob Heise's run-scoring double.
