The frosh LACROSSE TEAM fared better than their baseball counterparts, defeating the University of Vermont Lacrosse Club, 5-4. Saturday, lifting their season's record to 2-0. The Yardling laxmen were trailing 4-2, against UVM midway through the fourth quarter when they struck for three goals within 30 seconds to clinch the game. BOB MELLEN tallied two goals against UVM. The freshmen's first win of the season came last Wednesday against Exeter. Harvard defeating the preppies, 18-1 Melien had four goals in that contest with ANDY KROUNER and STFVE MARTIN scoring three apiece.
