Doctor's Bills

In Progress

The two Harvard doctors who were indicted one year ago in connection with fetal experimentation will have their defense paid for by Harvard under an agreement worked out shortly after the indictment, Daniel Steiner, '54, general counsel to the University, explained this week.

Dr. Robert H. Ebert. dean of the Medical School, suggested the arrangement, Steiner said, because the research Dr. Leonard D. Berman, assistant professor of Pathology, and Dr. Leon D. Sebath '52, former associate professor of Medicine, were involved in was funded and approved by Harvard.
