Goldman Accepts Appointment As Rosovksy's New Assistant

Guido Goldman'59, executive director of the Center for European Studies and professor Government, on July I will assume the new post of special assistant to Dean Rosovsky for international affairs.

Goldman was responsible for negotiating a gift in June 1974 of $12 million from the Alfred Krupp Foundation of Germany, the largest gift ever made to an American university by a German foundation.

Dean Rosovsky said that Goldman's duties would include "organizing international educational planning and fund raising," in addition to advising on any other aspects of International affairs that would demand Rosovsky's attention.

No Set Agenda

Goldman said yesterday that his new post had "no set agenda," and that his duties would be determined by problems "as they come up."
