Steve Hefling has a varied selection for his Grad Chorale: Purcell, Brahms, and Yannatos. If you don't see him conduct then, be sure to go to the Lowell House 1812 Overture extravaganza on Sunday. Cast of thousands, chorus, orchestra, guns (courtesy of the Chief), and bells. The only place in the western hemisphere for an authentic performance of the piece (the only set of Russian bells, so I'm told). Rehearsal, 2:00 (strings needed, always); performance, 3 p.m.
