Two Harvard-Radcliffe student organizations, the Hillel Society and the Afro-American Cultural Center, are moving into new buildings closer to the center of the University.
The Afro-American Cultural Center is moving to 1750 Cambridge St., a building formerly owned by the Hillel Society.
Hillel Society will move from its present location at 20 Bryant St. to 75 Mount Auburn St., a building occupied now by Sanctuary Inc. and formerly owned by a Harvard final club.
Michael K. Horton '76, chairman of the board of the Afro-Am Cultural Center, said yesterday that the location of their new building would involve more students in the center's programs.
Rabbi Ben Zion Gold, director of the Hillel House, said yesterday that the new location on Mt. Auburn St. will give more students an opportunity to use Hillel's kosher kitchen.
